Hiking in Finestrat

senderismo_finestrat

The programme “Hiking for everyone is aimed at all age groups and all levels” says  Juan Francisco Perez, the sports minister in the area .  The routes are designed for everyone to enjoy the route walking at an even pace.  Routes vary between 8 and 15 kilometres and there are areas to stop and enjoy the scenery or regain your strength.

Those who want to participate in these routes should wear suitable clothing, not forgetting comfortable footwear, (lightweight walking boots), cap, raincoat, umbrella, change of socks, walking stick, water, food and warm clothing.  The  programme aims to promote active tourism in the area that respect and admire nature and the surroundings.   Along the routes the guides give detailed explanations making it easy to recognise and identify our local geography.
